Here we go! We are heading into postseason and here is the first look at the Top 100 teams coming into November.
Just as we did with the girls side, our rankings are based on the 3-mile distance since a majority schools have already produced multiple results at this distance over the course of the season.
Menlo HS (CCS), the small-school powerhouse is the team leading the state with an average time of 14:38.80 for the 3 mile distance. A berth to NXN is possible but the Div. V school will need all of their runners to hold off the bigger schools once the merge at the CIF-State Championship occurs.
Beckman HS (SS), M.L King HS (SS), and Jesuit HS (SJS) are the three California schools listed in the Top 25 nationwide. Mira Costa HS (SS) has an honorable mention in the latest national rankings. Can Menlo HS (CCS) pull off the upset?
