A race that gives runners the opportunity to experience first-hand what the state championships may feel like will arrive on Saturday.
It'll take place on Woodward Park 5K course in Fresno, California, and a notoriously tricky second mile.
Regardless, there are still a handful of girls who have ran under the 17:00 minute barrier on this course.
This season has kicked off on a fast note, so it would not come as a surprise to see a couple of sub 17:00s this weekend.
