The CIF postseason is approaching, and every coach, runner, and parent will be researching anyway to give their team the edge. Let's start preparing early with virtual team scores from the MileSplit database. Below, we compiled the team scores from a virtual 3-mile meet involving every team in California and ranked the top 100.
The virtual meet feature isn't perfect, especially since the State XC course will be a 5K, but it's an excellent barometer to gauge where teams stand, as most schools typically run 3 miles at the beginning of the season. With the Clovis XC Invitational this weekend, many things will change as various teams preview the state course.
