The Class of 2024 is set to scorch the triple jump runaway. On both the boys and girls sides, well over half of the top 10 returners will all be in their senior year.
Castaic High School sernio Meagan Humphries is also topping the charts just like in the long jump.
Alyssa Alumbres, a Vista Murrieta senior from the Southern Section, is ranked in the top five returners for both the triple and long jumps. Oddly enough, none of the top 10 returners claimed their furthest marks at the CIF State Championships.
Over on the boys side, we have Brandon Cheeks II of Mission Bay leading the way for the returners. Cheeks is ranked top three in both the triple and long Jump, which statistically speaking places him in a really good spot to be in podium contention once the state championships roll around.
