There will be an exciting battle in the post season since most of the jumpers that competed at the State Finals have graduated. Expect the field to be wide open for newcomers to come in and fight for a podium spot.
Meagan Humphries, a senior from Castaic HS in the Southern Section, will be looking to fight for a State title after placing runner-up last season. Humphries is the only returner to have cleared a mark of 20 at the State Championships.
On the boys side, Logan Saldate of Palma HS in the Central Coast Section is topping the charts both as top State Championship returner and top jumper. Saldate was runner-up as well in Fresno last May.
