Most Improved Boys at the 77th Annual Mt. SAC XC Invite

This year, the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational featured excellent conditions that helped many runners set personal records on the 3-mile course compared to last year. Below, we listed the most improved runners from the two-day meet, ranked by the fastest times of the year

At the top of the rankings, Matteo Sanchez is continuing his super sophomore season with a 1-minute and 20 second improvement from last year's meet. Sanchez ran an impressive 14:59 to help Redondo finish second in the D1 & D2 Team Sweepstakes race.

Lucas Teague made the biggest jump this year with a 2 minute and 46-second improvement to win the D1 Varsity Green race. Teague has had a stellar junior season so far, consistently improving on every course, and this 16:01 performance on the Mt. SAC course proves what he's capable of.
