JUNIOR ACHIEVERS
We rank the top 25 boys in the Class of 2023 by their performances in May. Adren Parker of Helix (6) set a San Diego Section record in the 400 meters in his preliminary heat at the CIF-State Track and Field Championships. Parker is top-ranked below in the 400 meters.
Our junior achievers list from May also includes Serra (SS) sprinter Rodrick Pleasant, the State Meet champion at both 100- and 200-meters, and includes his state record 100m performance during the CIF-Southern Section Masters Meet.
Others include the following State Meet champions: 1600-meter winner Christopher Caudillo of Clovis (CS), 110m hurdles champion and 300m hurdles runner-up Kai Graves-Blanks of Upland (SS), and discus throw champion Brendon See of JSerra (SS).
