Xai Ricks of Long Beach Poly (SS) ran a U.S. No. 1 time for 800 meters of 1:49.19 to upset favored Aaron Sahlman of Newbury Park (SS) to win the elite race at the APU Distance Meet of Champions. 

This version of the Junior Achievers series pulls from the database to provide a deeper look into outdoor performances so far this season for boys in the Class of 2024. These rankings are based on outdoor results dated between Feb. 17 and March 26 in the MileSplit database as of 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Rankings are subject to change as scattered meets from the weekend are added to the database. 

The MileSplit database allows for filtering rankings within the class, in CA, and nationally, as well as breaking leaders down by CIF sections. We encourage you to check out this cool rankings tool.
