1. Newbury Park (SS) - Only eight points behind Great Oak at Clovis. With Nico Young and Jace Aschbrenner tough to beat.

2. Whitney (SJ) - Only 33 points at Del Oro with all five scoring runners within 11 seconds!

3. Dana Hills (SS) - An eighth place finish at Clovis is significant because the Dolphins always finish well.

4. Claremont (SS) - Always one of the teams to keep an eye on. Mt. SAC a big one.

5. Thousand Oaks (SS) - The Ventura County champion showing power up front.

6. La Costa Canyon (SD) - Wonder if running Caleb Niednagel in other meets than the rest of the crew will hurt the Mavericks?

7. Ridgeview (CS) - Sure to find D-II much tougher than D-III but 11^th at Clovis isn't bad.

8. Redlands East Valley (SS) - Scored just 31 points in the Inland Empire Challenge.

9. Loyola (SS) - Dropping down from D-I, the Cubs are always in the thick of things.

10. West Torrance (SS) - Need someone to step up and be the front-runner after 12^th at Clovis.

1. Sacramento St. Francis (SJ) - Finishing third at Clovis, only seven points behind Buchanan, was very impressive.

2. Newbury Park (SS) - Just one spot and six points behind St. Francis.

3. Claremont (SS) - Won Crystal Springs as Maddie Coles and Azalea Segura-Mora went 1-2.

4. Mountain View St. Francis (CC) - Impressive performance at Clovis a sign of things to come?

5. Serrano (SS) - Nice jump for the Diamondbacks after a seventh place finish at Clovis.

6. Anaheim Canyon (SS) - Building toward state with key meet at Mt. SAC.

7. Rio Americano (SJ) - Keeping a low profile until end of the season.

8. Vista Del Lago (SJ) - Alexandra Klos was a close second at Clovis while the team placed eighth.

9. El Toro (SS) - Looking to improve on a ninth place finish in the Clovis sweeps.

10. Whitney (SJ) - Went 2-3-4 to win at Del Oro with Grace Lathrop second overall.
