Fifth in a Series
The California girls still lay claim to a number of national records with several of those efforts coming at the California State Meet! Keep in mind that California continues to be one of the few states that conducts 
a 'one level' championship for its State Meet. The ride just to qualify to that final stage is more extreme than in any other state!
So, we start by reflecting back to 1974, the first year girls were able to compete at the CIF-State Championships.
We will take you back on the journey and lore, starting with 1974 meet, that IS the Girls California State Meet.
