Girls Top 250 Over the Past Four Years

We talked about Sacramento St. Francis senior Isabella Fauria at the top. Her time on the Newhall course in 2016 ranks No. 4 over the past four years (although No. 1 for the full 3 miles) and No. 7 in meet history.

The course record is 16:41 run by Fiona O'Keeffe of Davis in 2015. Julia Stamps of Santa Rosa went 16:46 in 1996. Those are the only two times under 17 minutes on the course.

Following Fauria, you need to scroll down the top 250 list a bit before finding another current athlete. That runner is Amador Valley junior Hope Bergmark (Dan Tyree photo above). Her 18:21.40 for second at the 2018 DSL Invitational ranks 16th over the last four years.

Four other current runners rank among the top 40 but only one of those marks is from the 2018 meet. That athlete is Campolindo senior Paloma Hancock, whose 18:55.30 for fifth last season ranks tied for 35th.
