This Week's Nominees:
Summer Wilson, Irvine (SS) (California): Won the 3200 meters at CIF Southern Section Masters in 10:14.45, leading a field of 106 runners.
Tamea Crear, West Ranch (SS) (California): Captured the 200 meters title at CIF Southern Section Masters in 23.50, topping a field of 109 sprinters. Also competed in the 100 meters, clocking 11.62 for 7th place.
Azra Gercek, Portola (SS) (California): Took second in the 800 meters at CIF Southern Section Masters with a time of 2:08.13 in a field of 105 competitors.
Cassidy Nguyen, Los Alamitos (SS) (California): Cleared 13-2 to win the pole vault at CIF Southern Section Masters, topping a field of 66 vaulters.
Jaslene Massey, Aliso Niguel (SS) (California): Threw a state-leading 165-10 in the discus to win at CIF Southern Section Masters. Also captured the shot put title with a throw of 49-0, leading a field of 98 competitors.
