This Week's Nominees:
Maxime Morelle, Sacred Heart Prep (CC) (California): Won the shot put at the WBAL Championships with a throw of 61-10, topping a field of 16 competitors.
Jasir Fontenot, Mater Dei Catholic (SD) (California): Captured the 110m hurdles title at the Metropolitan Conference Varsity Finals in 13.67, establishing himself as the #1 sophomore in California in the event. Also placed second in the 100m with an 11.01 clocking.
Nicolas Obimgba, Torrance (SS) (California): Swept both sprint events at the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Prelims, clocking 10.37 in the 100m and 20.82 in the 200m.
Ayden Parker, Dougherty Valley (NC) (California): The #2 junior in the 400m ran 46.83 to win at the EBAL Championships, then returned to place second in the 200m in 21.51.
