California Boys Track Performer of the Week (Feb. 23-Mar. 1)

After another week of indoor track & field action in California, it's time to vote for the MileSplit California boys performer of the week.

The poll closes Thursday at 5 p.m. ET.

This Week's Nominees:

Arthur Stringer, Paloma Valley (SS) (California): Won the triple jump at the Saddle-Up Invitational with a leap of 48-0, breaking his PR of 46-10 set in February. The mark moves him to #1 in California this season. Also placed 2nd in the long jump with a mark of 22-5 at the Santiago Tri-Meet, which ranks #6 in the state.

Quran Clayton, Oak Hills (SS) (California): Captured two state-leading and top 5 nationally ranked marks at the Saddle-Up Invitational, winning the 100m dash and 110m hurdles double. The two marks set new personal records for him from last season, with 10.29 in the 100m dash and 13.78 in the 110m hurdles.

Maximo Zavaleta, ML King (SS) (California): Posted two state-leading marks at the Mustang Round Up, winning the distance double with times of 9:07.81 in the 3200 and 4:09.86 in the 1600. Earlier in the week, he also posted a new PR of 1:54.07 in the 800 at Vista Murrieta, improving from 1:55.81 and moving to #2 in California. 

Bo Ausmus, Redondo Union (SS) (California): Opened his season with two victories at the Mustang Relays Invitational in the shot put and discus. He threw a state-leading mark of 60-3 in the shot put, which is a few inches off his personal record at last year's Bay League Meet. He also threw 163-3 in the discus, tying him for CA #7.

Kamil Pelovello, Servite (SS) (California): Ran a state-leading 21.19 in the 200m dash and an impressive 10.56 in the 100m dash at the Mustang Round Up. He was also part of Servite's 4x100m relay team, which ran 40.05, the fastest time in the nation this season.
