In the girls' D1 & D2 Individual Sweepstakes race, Sabina Cruz outlasted the competition to run 17:39 to capture the victory and break the 9th-grade meet record. Cruz finished the day as the sixth fastest girl of the weekend.

Chiara Dailey (La Jolla)

In her last race at the 77th Annual Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational, Chirara Dailey dominated the competition with a 50-second gap to secure her third Mt. SAC win in four years. Dailey's 17:19 on Friday was the fastest time of the entire weekend.

Sade Bumpus (Granada)

Sade Bumps delivered an outstanding performance at the Haystack Tune-Up as preparation for the CIF North Coast Section Championships next month. Bumpus ran 17:56 on this course last year at the CIF NCS Championships, but last weekend she achieved a huge PR of 17:15 to win the race.

Katelyn Elliott (Clarmont)

At the Flat SAC Invitational, Katelyn Elliott ran 18:11 on the 5k course to finish as the top Californian in the Large School Varsity Girls race. The last time Elliott ran at Flat SAC, she ran around 21 minutes as a freshman, demonstrating her remarkable progression since then.

Josephine Krulick (Vacaville Christian Academy)

Josephine Krulick was the top California girl at the Flat SAC Invitational, finishing with a time of 18:06 to win the Small School Varsity Girls race. This marks the continuation of a breakout sophomore season, during which she stays undefeated after five races. Although this was Krulick's most competitive meet of the season, she still won convincingly by 35 seconds.
