CANNIDATES
Isabella Ramos (Point Loma)- At the Cool Breeze Invitational, Isabella Ramos unleashed a deadly kick to win the Sundown Showdown in a time of 16:59. The Point Loma senior moved up five places from the halfway mark to make a big statement early in the season.
Jaelyn Williams (Eastlake)- During an epic showdown at the CCA Ravens XC Invitational, Jaelyn Williams captured a massive victory on the fast 3-mile course. The Stanford University commit finished in 16:03 to put her name in the national conversation to start the season.
Summer Wilson (Irvine HS)- The Irvine High School senior broke the Saddleback Cross Country Cup record in a finishing time of 10:03 on the 2-mile course. Summer Wilson nearly beat the extremely talented field by a whole minute.
Sophie Hutchinson (Whitney HS)- Becoming a back-to-back champion at the Oakmont Invitational earned Sophie Hutchinson a Performer of the Week nomination. Hutchinson finished with a time of 13:30 to win, starting another outstanding season.
Aelo Curtis (Ventura HS)- The senior from Ventura won the Gaucho XC Invitational with a time of 17:48 to start her cross country season strong. Aleo Curtis also helped the Ventura girls secure a 42-point team victory.
