CANDIDATES

Millie Bayles (Trabuco Hills)

Millie Bayles' return didn't disappoint at the Rosemead Invitational, where she ran 16:29 to win the senior girls' race. Her 16:29 was not only the fastest of the meet but also the third-fastest 3-mile time in California so far. This is Bayles' first competition since her only race of the 2025 track season in April.

Mia Ritter (Mira Costa)

Mia Ritter won the junior girls' title at the Rosemead Invitational in 17:21, where she also recorded the third-fastest time of the meet. Her excellent performance contributed to the Mira Costa girls scoring just 44 points to win the meet.

Alyssa Gutierrez (St. Francis)

The St. Francis girls looked utterly unstoppable at the Kim Duyst Invitational, where they only needed to score 23 points to win the girls' 5k. Freshman Alyssa Gutierrez arrived and propelled the team to a new level with a 17:08 victory.

Isabella Ramirez (Bullard)

At the Kingsburg 2 Mile, Isabella Bullard finished with a time of 10:52 to win the senior girls' race against a strong field in the Central Section. Ramierez is starting the season with a couple of impressive 2-mile performances, hoping for a great season.

Olivia Campos (Mt. Carmel)

The Palomar League Cluster's standout performances for boys and girls were highlighted by Olivia Campos's 16:48 finish to win the varsity girls' 3-mile. Campos's personal best helped lead the Mt. Carmel girls to victory over Del Norte.
