Payton Godsey of Oaks Christian (SS) was the fastest junior girl on the Woodward Park 5K course on Saturday at the CIF-State Cross Country Championships. In fact, in winning the Division IV individual title, she ran the fourth-fastest time ever by a junior girl at the CIF-State Meet and the fifth-fastest time ever by a girl in the Division IV championship race.
