The MileSplit California 2019 All-State Junior Girls Cross Country team is based on placement at the State Meet within the class. Additionally, results at section divisional finals and other top performances are considered for first team, second team and honorable mention placement and inclusion.
Mia's time of 17:58.30 placed second in Division V and ranked 10th in the class of 2021 at the State Meet. Won her third consecutive Southern Section Division 5 title, running the No. 10 time in the class at the meet. She also won the 5K race at Foot Locker West and qualified to compete at Foot Locker National Championships.
MADISON KACKLEY, Gregori (SJ)
Harper's time of 17:13.40 to win the Division V title ranked first in the class of 2021 at the State Meet. Won the NCS Division 5 title and had the top overall time (17:03.70) in the merge. Ran the top times in the class at both Woodbridge (16:23.90), where she placed fourth, and at Clovis (17:10.20), where she placed third. Her time at Woodbridge ranks U.S. No. 1 in the class for 3 miles and U.S. No. 8 regardless of class. Ran at NXN and placed 65th overall and seventh among CA girls.
Amber's clocking of 17:35.00 placed second in Division II and ranked third in the class of 2021 at the State meet. Runner-up in the Southern Section D2 race with the fastest time among junior girls at the section final (17:02.8), which ranked No. 2 in the overall merge. Placed 11th in the championship race but second among 2021 girls at Woodbridge. Won her race at Clovis and ranked fifth overall among junior girls.
Brooke won the Division IV title at the State Meet with a time of 17:33.40. That time was the second fastest at State among girls in the class of 2021. Placed second at the Southern Section D4 race and fifth overall in the class at the meet. Ran fourth in her race and placed third in the class at Mt. SAC.
Jill crossed the line in 17:49.20 to place seventh in Division II race at the State Meet. That time ranked sixth in the class of 2021 on the 5K Woodward Park course that day. Placed sixth in the Southern Section D2 race with the No. 2 time in the class at the meet. Had the third fastest time in the class at Woodbridge (16:49.70, which ranks U.S. No. 8 among junior girls), the No. 3 time in the class at Clovis (17:50.40) and the No. 1 time in the class at Mt. SAC (17:39.00).
