Makenna Herbst (Carlsbad SD) - In 2024, Herbst became an established competitor for California's 800m crown after running 2:07.23 to finish 3rd at the CIF San Diego Championships. She finished the season second at the CIF State Championship and with a personal record of 2:06.45 at the USATF U20 National Championships that summer.
