Darius Carbin of Mt. Pleasant (CC) went a modest - for him - 6-11 to win the high jump competition at the 2016 Arcadia Invitational. He would go on to win the CIF-State title and then at the World U20s, he set the CA state record with a clearance of 7-04.50.
