Workout Wednesday feature on Buchanan High distance runners Meagen Lowe and Corie Smith going through a vVO2 4-6-8-1k-8-6-4 end-of-season workout. Lowe, a senior headed to Oregon State, is the CA leader in the 3200 (10:12.78/ U.S. No. 9) and ranks No. 6 in the 1600 (4:49.15), both PRs. Smith, a junior and a CIF-State Division 1 champion in cross country as a sophomore, ranks No. 6 in CA in the 3200 (10:22.63, and has a PR of 10:21.51).
