Elijha Ellis, a senior at Golden Valley (SS), had quite a day at The California Relays at Lone Beach Wilson HS, with a CA No. 1 long jump PR of 24-00 (1.1), a runner-up triple jump mark of 41-09.50 (2.2) and a100m PR of 10.77 (2.9). The LJ mark ranked U.S. No. 2 for wind-legal marks.

For that performance, you voted Ellis the MileSplitCA Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending March 19.

Ellis received 50.83 percent of more than 32K votes -- 32-thousand!!! --  in a statewide poll. Cade Moran, a senior at Murrieta Mesa (SS), was second in the voting, receiving 41.64 percent of the vote.
