The first full weekend of the 2025 CIF track and field season produced some amazing performances in and out of state. Starting this week, we'll conduct a poll highlighting some of California's best performances.
The California Performer of the Week poll will close at 5 p.m. PST on Thursday, February 27, and the winner will be announced shortly after.

CANDIDATES
Christina Gray (Carson)- Gray starts her season strong with two state-leading marks at the Ayala Invitational. She won the 100m in 11.77 and the 200m in 24.13.
Jordin Lieberman (Murrieta Valley)- At the Eagle Invitational, Lieberman made a significant statement by running 4:52.88 in the 1600m, securing the third-fastest time in the nation.
Megan Crum (Temescal Canyon)- Crum continues her strong start to the season with a time of 10:42.44 in the 3200m. The University of Portland commit is currently ranked No.6 in the U.S. for the 3200m.
Jaslene Massey (Aliso Niguel)- Two impressive personal records for the junior to start the season while securing California's top marks in the shot put and discus. She achieved a personal record of approximately thirty feet in the discus with a throw of 146-8, and she improved by over a foot in the shot put with a throw of 47-10.
Amanda Javellana (Pleasant Grove)-At the Simplot Games, Javellana threw 51-10 in the weight throw, ranking her currently top 20 in the nation.
