Where Do 2019 Throwers Rank Among Decade's Best?

With his epic 195-5 throw last week, Daniel Viveros jumped up to No. 11 in rankings of the top discus throws in California over the past decade. Gino Cruz (194-11) and Carlos Aviles (194-01) also rank among the top 20. 

Further indication that nerves won the day at the Saturday finals at the State Meet last year, the PR and state title-winning throw of Mission Viejo's Christian Lavalle of 182-7 ranks just 71st. 

Of note: There are only nine guys who have exceeded 200 feet over the last decade, and a total of 32 who have gone 190 or farther. There are 84 throwers who have gone 180-5 or better. To make this list, capped at 499, your best throw needed to be at least 156-10.
