A school record run and victory in the 5000 meters by David Rooney highlighted McNeese State track and field efforts late Friday night and Saturday.
The University of Houston track and field teams concluded the 54th annual Mt. Sac Relays on Saturday, as the women's 4x400 claimed first, while setting a new season best mark and Grecia Bolton reaches a season best in the 200m dash.
Katie Flood ran the third fastest 1500 meter time in school history, as the Des Moines, Iowa native won the invitational elite 1500 meter run to highlight day 2 of the Mt.
