POLL: CA Girls Performer of the Week (April 1-6)

Last week, Anisa Bowen-Fontenot was named CA Performer of the Week (March 24-31)

We'll conduct a poll every week highlighting some of California's best performances.

The California Performer of the Week poll will close at 5 p.m. PST this Thursday and the winner will be announced shortly after.

Zemoni Wilkins (Great Oak)Improvement is always good, especially when it's by over seven feet! Zemoni Wilkins jumped 39-7.5 to win the Trabuco Hills Invitational triple jump and move up to CA No.3 in the rankings.

Gaby Gutierrez (Buchanan)The freshman, Gaby Gutierrez, didn't walk away with any wins at the West Coast Relays, but she did leave with two fantastic performances in the 1600m and 3200m. Gutierrez ran the second fast freshman time in California in the 1600m, 4:56.83; later in the day, she ran 10:43.27 in the 3200m for the fastest freshman time in California.

Chloe Elbaz (JSerra)-At the Oregon Relays, Chloe Elbaz competed against some of the top milers in the West, finishing in 4th place in the mile with a significant personal record. Elbaz achieved a new California-leading time of 4:51.54 after her 2:10 performance last week in the 800m. 

Keelan Wright (Chaparral)Welcome to the outside world, Keelan Wright! The future Georgia Bulldog opened her season in the 100m and 200m this past weekend at the Trabuco Hills Invite. Wright won both events and ran the CA No.1 for all conditions at 23.41 with a +2.6 wind.

Giselle Renney (Clovis North)- The sophomore out of Clovis North PRed by five seconds to win the West Coast Relays 800m at 2:11.18. That time catapulted Renney to the sixth-fastest time in California, and she secured the top spot in the state for sophomores.
