Girls 400 Relay
Meet Record: Los Gatos 47.49 2014
Monta Vista won last year's meet with a time of 47.95 and won the section final with a time of 47.96. For this season, the Valley Christian San Jose girls have posted the fastest time of the season at 49.32. They will be challenged here by San Lorenzo Valley (49.37) and Menlo Atherton (49.37) teams. With the times being so equal, my pick will be for the MA girls to come out victorious considering they have the returning section champions in the 100 (Jessica Eagle) and 200 (Maggie Hall).
Boys 400 Relay
Meet Record: Mt. Pleasant 41.15 1992
Last season, Valley Christian San Jose won the CCS Top 8 meet and finished in 2nd at the CCS final. This year, they have the fastest time in the section at 42.61 and are quite experienced considering they are in the WBAL and have participated in both the Stanford and Arcadia Invitationals. They will be the favorite to win the team title at the section final and could score valuable points here.
