The Long Beach Poly boys held off Trabuco Hills on Saturday in the 4x200 invitational section at the Mt. SAC Relays, clocking a win by the narrowest of margins.
One-hundredth of a second.
The California stalwart clocked a winning time of 1:27.65 to take down Trabuco Hills, whose lean at the line yielded them a runner-up effort in 1:27.66. Helix wasn't far behind in third in 1:27.91.
