The US #2 ranked Great Oak girls and US #9 ranked Great Oak boys both lived up to their billing at least by sweeping the top seeded sweepstakes races on Saturday night in Orange County.

A battle in SoCal forced Austin Tamagno to make a late push to the front in a nailbiter.

Great battle between some of the finest athletes in California. Austin Tamagno of Brea Olinda runs a tremendously smart race and puts on a late kick to take the win in 14:04.

Destiny Collins means business and makes that clear from the gun with a 5:04 first mile. She did have the likes of Dani Jones (Desert Vista) and Sam Ortega (Saugus) in pursuit.
