During week one of the CIF cross country season, new Californian stars emerged on several 2-mile courses across the state.
The 2-mile always owns the first few weeks of the XC season as athletes build up for the challenging 3-mile and 5K races ahead. From the start of this year, the shorter distance may be setting the stage for stars forming this Fall.
