Nathaniel Bacca's Double Jump & Win
The Ayala senior swept the jumps, clearing 6-5 in the high jump and flying 23-9.5 in the long jump. He now ranks among the top three in California in both events.
Kaia Musalborn's Monster Long Jump
In the long jump, Kaia Musalborn jumped a state-leading 20-0.50, which also moves her up to U.S. No.6 at the moment.
Blue and Yohannes Deliver State-Leading 400m Wins

Ejam Yohannes beat a CIF State Final-type field, including Emanuel Morgan, Kaedyn Burroughs, and Noah Smith
. His eyes are set on running 45 this season and winning a CIF State title. He is also ranked as the fourth-fastest in the country.
Gretchen Yakaitis Takes Over the State Lead in the 1600m & 800m
Yakaitis secured double victories in the 1600m and 800m in state leading times of 4:53 and 2:12. She is fresh off from winning the CIF State DIII XC Championship and is now set for a fantastic senior season.
Two 300m Hurdles Upsets
The always thrilling 300m Hurdles races produced upsets on the boys' and girls' sides. First, Trishelle Barge dived across the line while hitting the last hurdle to pass Sofia Lopes and secure the victory. Barge ran 43.49 to win and move up to No. 5 in the California rankings. Maximo Zavaleta's Redemption
After finishing runner-up in the 3200m , Maximo Zavaleta secured the 1600m title in a state-leading time of 4:08.93. Zavaleta's gutsy effort pushed 15 athletes under 4:15 in one of the deepest 1600m races of the season. The recent UCLA-signee is currently ranked California No.1 in the 1600m and No.2 in the 3200m.

New CA #1 & #2 in the 4x400m Relay
The last event of the day came down to the final leg that say Ejam Yohannes of Loyola and Emanuel Morgan of Central East rematch from their open 400m race. Ultimately, Morgan didn't have enough to catch Yohannes, who started with a slight lead, and Loyola secured the victory and the state lead.
