This Friday and Saturday, high school runners will take on the famous fast 3-mile layout at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic in Irvine, California. For some, it's a chance to set new personal bests. For others, it's the moment to prove that months of summer training have elevated them to an elite level.
Woodbridge has built a reputation as the proving ground for speed. Since 2021, it has produced the fastest boys and girls 3-mile times in the nation in every year except 2023. This season, with top programs from across the West and a few challengers from the East, that tradition looks set to continue.
We've got you covered with the full entries for the Bob Day Boys' Sweepstakes and Doug Speck Girls' Sweepstakes, featuring several teams and individuals ranked in the COROS MileSplit 50.
