POLL Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week

Congratulations to Jordan Coleman of Granada Hills (LA) last week's top vote-getter for MileSplit Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Week.

Jordan, a junior, crushed it at the Arcadia Invitational. He won his section of the 100-meter dash in a CA No. 1 all-conditions time of 10.36 (1.7) - U.S. wind-legal No. 9 - won the invite 200m in a U.S. No. 13-tying time of 21.01 (1.0), and ran a leg on the 4x100m relay team that ran a U.S. No. 3 time of 40.28. His 100m time ranks tied for fourth in meet history, his 200m time ranks 10th, and the 4x1 time tied the meet record set by Muir (SS) in 1997.

Jordan received 34 percent of the vote in a statewide poll. His senior teammate Dijon Stanley was second in the voting at 21 percent, and Newbury Park (SS) senior Aaron Sahlman was third with 18 percent.

Congratulations to all athletes whose performances warrant consideration in this weekly poll. And thanks to everyone who voted to support these amazing athletes.
