Congratulations to Miles Roberts of Leland (CC) last week's top vote-getter for MileSplit Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
Miles, a senior, advanced with top marks in three events at the CIF-Central Coast Section Trials in the heat at Gilroy HS. Roberts dropped PRs in advancing in both the 300m hurdles (38.78) and long jump (22-6.75/0.0), and missed a PR by .01 in running the meet's fastest time in the 110m hurdles (14.12/0.0).
Miles received an overwhelming 87 percent of the vote in a statewide poll!!!
Congratulations to all athletes whose performances warrant consideration in this weekly poll. And thanks to everyone who voted to support these amazing athletes.
