Congratulations to Meagan Humphries of Castaic (SS), last week's top vote-getter for MileSplit Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Week.
Meagan, a junior, won four events at the CIF-Southern Section Division Championships at Moorpark HS. She won Division 3 titles in the 200m (23.85/1.8), high jump (5-8), long jump (20-00.25/-1.3), and triple jump (39-10.75/1.2). Her marks in the 200m and long jump are both PRs and rank CA No. 4.
Meagan received 40 percent of the vote in a statewide pole, Payton Godsey, a junior at Oaks Christian (SS), received 20 percent, and Katie Kopec, a senior at Whitney (SJ), received 14 percent of the votes.

Nailea Fields (Caruthers/CS) - Nailea, a senior and defending State Meet champion in the discus throw, won that event at the Central Section Masters with a state-leading 167-8 PR, her first 160-plus throw of the seasons and first since the Central Section D-4 Finals last May.
Keilee Hall (Christian Brothers/SJ) - Keilee, a senior, took over the state lead in the 300m hurdles with a 42.02 PR at the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters. She also PR'd in the 100m hurdles, running 14.00 (2.5) for fourth in the finals.
Y'Vette Harris (Lincoln-Stockton/SJ) - Y'Vette, a senior, improved her 100m hurdles state-leading time of 13.53 (2.8) at the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Prelims. She won the title the next day running 13.63. She placed second in the 300m hurdles finals at 42.74, the second-fastest time of the season and third-fastest of her career.
Meagan Humphries (Castaic/SS) - Meagan, a junior, won the high jump (5-7) and had State Meet qualifying marks in three other events at Southern Section Masters. Humphries ran a PR 23.55 (3.9) for fourth in the 200m, went 19-03.75 (-0.8) in the long jump, and 38-07.75 (nwi) in the triple jump.
Aja Johnson (Notre Dame-Sherman Oaks/SS) - Aja, a sophomore, took over the state lead in the shot put with a PR mark of 46-10 at Southern Section Masters, an improvement of 2 feet, 6.50 inches. She also placed third in the discus throw at 143-10 a week after hitting her PR in that event.
Aujane Luckey (Wilson-Long Beach/SS) - Aujane, a senior, ran a state-leading 52.71 PR at Southern Section Masters. She also helped the 4x400m relay team to a CA No. 2 time of 3:43.19.
Ellie McCuskey-Hay (St. Ignatius/CC) - Ellie, a freshman, won three individual titles and as apart of a relay title at the Central Coast Section Finals. Already the CA class leader in the 100m, McCuskey-Hay went 11.92 (0.0) in that event, 24.76 (-1.9) to win the 200m, had a PR of 18-09.50 (0.0) to win the long jump, and helped the 4x100m relay to a 48.18 time for the CCS title.
Joelle Trepagnier (Culver City/SS) - Joelle, a sophomore, ran a CA No. 2 time of 53.46 in the 400m, a CA No. 3 time of 23.55 (3.9) in the 200m, and helped the 4x400m relay team to a state-leading 3:41.40 at Southern Section Masters.
