POLL Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week

* * *

Congratulations to Jeremiah Bolanos of Redlands East Valley (SS) last week's top vote-getter for MileSplit Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Week.

Jeremiah, a senior, won the triple jump in a state-leading and all-conditions U.S. No. 13 mark of 47-6, and placed second in the long jump at 22-3, both PRs, at the Saddle-Up Invitational at Vista Murrieta HS.

Jeremiah received 68 percent of the vote in a statewide poll. Jason Parra, a junior at Millikan (SS), was second in the voting at 17 percent of the vote.

Congratulations to all athletes whose performances warrant consideration in this weekly poll. And thanks to everyone who voted to support these amazing athletes.

Who's next?

This week, we have a strong mix of six outstanding outdoor performances from which you may choose. No easy selections, as is always the case in the ultra-competitive Golden State.

Check out the resumes below and then make sure to vote in the FanPower module at the bottom of the page. That is where you decide the top girls track and field athlete of the week.

As always, voting closes Friday at 9 p.m.
