Rhone appropriately christened the new, and LBP-hosted, Southern California XC Opener, running the 3-mile Cal State Long Beach campus course in 14:38.21 to win the Varsity Boys race.

Eli Fitchen-Young (Santa Cruz/CC/So.) - He rolled to victory at the Monterey Bay Invitational, running 14:55.20 to win the Varsity Boys division over the 3-mile course at Toro Park in Salinas.
Jayden Hernandez (Godinez/SS/Jr.) - The fastest boy on the course at the Laguna Hills XC Invitational, running 15:29.70 on the 3-mile course to win the Junior Boys Division 2 race.
Alexander Lodewick (Campolindo/NC/Sr.) - He ran the fastest time on the course at the Ed Sias Invitational, winning the Varsity Boys Small Schools Division race in 10:05.80 on the 2-mile course at Hidden Valley Park in Martinez.
Evan Markelz (Mountain View/CC/Sr.) - Fastest boy on the course at the Lowell Invitational, running 13:48.0 to win the Varsity Boys Division 1 race over the 2.93-mile layout at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
Jason Parra (Millikan/SS/Jr.) - He won the Varsity Boys elite race at the Rosemead XC Invitational, running the 3-mile campus course in 14:25.10.
Nathan Short (Folsom/SJ/Sr.) - The fastest boy on the course, running 10:38.30 over the 2.1-mile course at Willow Hills to win the Varsity Boys race at the Josh Ruff Memorial Invitational.
Parker Simmons (Crescenta Valley/SS/Sr.) - Up and awake early, he ran 15:17.10 to win the Senior Boys race on the 3-mile course at the early Friday morning Moorpark Invitational.
