A four-year mainstay on Buchanan's nationally-ranked girls cross country team, senior Grace Hutchison is the final CA Girls Cross Country Runner of the Week fan-poll winner for the 2022 season. Congratulations!

Congratulations to last week's top vote-getter, Grace Hutchison of Buchanan (CS)!!
Grace, a senior, led the way as Buchanan placed third in a national championship meet for the third time in two seasons by running 17:51.60 to place 29th (ninth among scoring runners) at Team Nationals on the 5,000-meter layout at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland.
Grace received 46 percent of the vote in a statewide poll. Sadie Engelhardt, a sophomore at Ventura (SS), was second in the voting receiving 17 percent of votes.
