Shawn Toney, a senior at Los Altos (CC), dropped PRs of 14.36 (4.3) in the 110-meter hurdles (CA No. 10) and 38.10 in the 300m hurdles (CA No. 4) at the SCVAL Qualifier.
For that performance, you voted Toney as the MileSplitCA Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending May 7.
Toney received 41.30 percent of nearly 4K votes in a statewide poll! Camryn O'Bannon, a senior at St. John Bosco (SS), was second in the voting, receiving 16.68 percent of the vote. (His teammate Jaden Smith was last week's voting runner-up!)
