Jared Steins, a senior at Servite (SS), swept the distances at the Trinity League Finals, taking league titles in the 800m (1:59.91), 1600m (4:19.26), and 3200m (9:43.5).
For that performance, you voted Steins as the MileSplitCA Boys Track and Field Performer of the Week for the week ending April 30.
Steins received 60.57 percent of an amazing 21,450 votes in a statewide poll! Jaden Smith, a senior at St. John Bosco (SS), was second in the voting, receiving 48.42 percent of the vote.
This week we have selected eight top performers from the past week for your voting consideration as the top CA Track and Field Performer of the Week.
