Dana Hills Invitational (CA): Dana Hills (photo on front page by Dennis McClanahan) dominates the class flights. In overall combined team scoring consisting of over 600 athletes, Dana Hills prevails with 44 team points! In combined scoring, places all five scorers in the top 20. Averaging 17:50 over the 3-mile course Dana Hills was sinply dominant. Danica Wyson, Aliso Niguel, had the fastest time of the day, with a quick 17:03.6. Stanford Invitational (CA): ELITE BOYS: US#7 Arcadia rebounds from a narrow loss a week ago to US#3 Royal and US#6 St. John Bosco, and tops US#4 Ferris, WA. Ferris finished a disappointing 5th place. Averaging 15:55 over the course Arcadia was followed by Trubaco Hills, CA in second. Other casualties included US#13 Mountain View who finished 11th. ELITE GIRLS: US#6 Torrey Pines (Photo below by Margot Kelly) dominates the field with an impressive 93:41 total team time. For the 2nd week in a row Torrey Pines wins a huge invitational in dominating fashion. Molly Grabill (Photo right by Margot Kelly) makes her presence known with an amazing 17:22 5K victory. Torrey Pines own Megan Morgan finished second in an equally impressive 17:39. In a surprising turn of events, NO SURPRISE IN WASHINGTON, DIV IV girls winner US#14 Glacier Peak finishes 2nd overall in total team scoring finishing less than 10 points behind Torrey Pines! DIVISION IV GIRLS: At the US Supermeet, US#14 Glacier Peak utterly destroys the girls DIV IV race with 22 team points over the 5000 meter course, defeating 27 team in the process. Glacier Peak officially earned their national ranking, too bad we could not have seen them head-to-head with US#6 Torrey Pines in the championship race. Placing all five scorers in the top 10! Big 8 Cluster Meet #1 (CA): Corona dominates the boys field with 27 team points. Placing 7 in the top 15 and averaging 16:22 for 3-miles. Runner-up team, ML King (60 points) was pace by the individual champion junior Lane Werley who covered the course in 15:43. In a reversal in team scoring, the ML King ladies swept the championship race with a low 25 team points. They place all 7 varsity scorers in the top 10! MTAL League Meet #1 (CA): Carmel wins the boys team championship by placing five scorers inthe top 13 places. Averaging 17:23 over the 3-mile course, they were too much fro runner-up Stevenson. King City sophomore Samuel Hales won with 16:30. Carmel swept the team championships as the girls won going away with a teams core of 47 points. the front 3 for Carmel have a 3 second spread and the 4-6 have a 2 second spread. Pacific View League Meet (CA): In the girls championship there was a shootout as Adolfo Camarillo narrowly edged Rio Mesa by 1 point in team scoring 36-37. Eight of the top ten places belonged to these two teams. The individual title went to Oxnard freshman Sydney Caldwell who won in 20:30. In the boys race, Adolfo Camarillo was simply dominant as they placed 6 in the top 10 and all runners in the top 15 to score 21 team points. Golden Eagle/ Clovis West Invitational (CA): Red-A/Redlands-A junior Megan Crowley leads the ladies to team victory behind her individual championship. Crowley won with a time of 19:28 while her team placed all five scorers in the top 15 places. On the boys side it was a bit dicier, as Stock-B/ Stockdale-Bakersfield won in a close race against Mad-S/ Madera South behind the individual victory of sophomroe Curtis Kelly. Kellly won in 17:05 in a final sprint against Mad-H/ Madera High senior Kevin Poythress who finished 2nd in 17:07. Meet Page
Southbay Invitational (CA): Otay Ranch wins over 25 teams in the boys championship with a low 40 team points. Averaging 16:36 over 5000 meters the team was led by individual champion Jacob Roach's 15:40. The Otay Ranch girls were also victorious in the girls championship. With an entire underclassman team, they scored 58 points to runnerup Sweetwater's 156! Averaging 16:32 over the 2.5 mile course and behind Catie LeDesma's individual victory in 15:39, the team was just to much to handle. Meet Page
Yuba Sutter Invitational (CA): Casa Roble & Rodriguez got into a heated battle for the girls team championship with Casa Roble coming out on top 41-45. The difference maker in scoring was Casa Roble's #3 runner Katie McCollam's 7th place finish. Roseville standout Shayna Powless was individual victor in 21:27 over the 5K course. Behind an amazing pack team performance, Del Campo dominates the boys team championship by placing all 7 scorers in the top 10! Saratoga Invitational (CA): Lynbrook wins the boys championship with a 10:43 two-mile average over the 2-mile course. Led by individual champion Luca Signore's top time of the day 9:50, Lynbrook placed all seven in the top 16 places. Girls team championship went to Lynbrook as well with a 13:27 team average and all five scorers in the top 14 places. Saratoga senior Karen Wai won the individual title in 12:45. Meet Page

Nike Pre-National (OR): Jesuit, OR girls run impressively to win, led by Annamarie Maag's impressive 17:45 over the 5K course, Jesuit scores 55 points. Looking like a nationally ranked program Jesuit, OR is making a statement. On the boys side, Palos Verdes, CA (photo above by Jeff Zukerman) wins with 49 points.
