This could be a banner year for the high jump with multiple athletes over 7 feet taking aim at the California state crown. You can definitely include sophomore, Sean Lee, to the growing list of contenders as he jumped 7'0.25" in a dual meet yesterday vs Capistrano Valley HS. Lee finished tied for 2nd place with 2 other athletes at the California state meet last year. He is now just a few inches away of the sophomore record in California which stands at 7'1". You can check out the video below of is jump courtesy of his dad and coach, Ron Lee.
