Corona Centennial senior Rylee Penn won the girls seeded 800 meters on Saturday at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays. Penn, a former CIF-State Meet runner-up, ran away from the field with a strong kick in posting 2:11.80, the 7th fastest time of her four-year career and the fastest since peaking at 2:11.37 at last year's CIF Masters Meet.
They cranked up the music late Friday night at El Camino College and girls from the 4x1600 relay teams that just finished competing at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays, turned a track meet into a dance party.
