Sean Lee, a senior at Trabuco Hills HS in Mission Viejo, cleared 7 feet, 3 inches in the high jump on Saturday at the Mustang Roundup. Lee, the defending CIF-State champion who is headed to UCLA, triple-PRed on Saturday, the opening day of the spring season, clearing 7-1 after 36 previous failed attempts over the years. Then he cleared 7-2 on his first try and 7-3 on his third attempt. He took three jumps at 7-4. The CA record is 7-4.50. Lee, an age-group record-holder, is now the Orange County record-holder and tied for No. 7 in CA history.
