Virtual Meet Preview: Boys Winter Track & Field Championship, with Team Scores!

The Winter Track & Field Championship meet kicks off Saturday morning at Cerritos College! The replacement for the Run for the Dream, which is on a one-year hiatus, the meet will feature talent from around the state that includes some of the nation's absolute best..  Athletes qualified by advancing from designated qualifying meets, or by hitting an automatic qualifying standard in all-comers competition.  

The performance list was released earlier this week, and we took the seed marks and scored them like a real meet to produce the rankings below.  That allowed us to generate a predicted team score as well!  Of course, the real races rarely go exactly as expected, but at least you can get a sense of who the contenders will be in each event, and which teams have a chance of leaving the winter with bragging rights.
