Courtesy of our team at FloTrack, it's a bit of a CA party at the finish line of the Houston Marathon where former CA high school champion Sara (Bei) Hall, at age 38, set an American Record of 1:07.15 for the half marathon. In this finish-line clip, you can also see another former CA champion, Fiona O'Keeffe crossing shortly after Hall in 1:07.42. In the distance on the PA you can hear the distinctive voice of the great Tim O'Rourke calling some of the finishes. Hall won four consecutive CIF-State Championships in cross country between 1997 and 2000 running for Santa Rosa Montgomery HS (NC). O'Keeffe won two State XC titles in 2013-14 running for Davis Senior HS (SJ). Check out FloTrack for more on this historic performance.
