Sunny Hills/Wayne Walker Cross Country Invitational

Date: Saturday, September 24, 2022

Location: Craig Park -- 3300 S. State College Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92835

Distance: 3.0 miles of paved trails, dirt trails, grass and hills.

Race Format: 8 races, one division mixed with large and small schools.

Race Schedule

  • Senior Boys -- 8:00 am

  • Senior Girls -- 8:30 am

  • Junior Boys -- 9:00 am

  • Junior Girls -- 9:30 am

  • Sophomore Boys -- 10:00 am

  • Sophomore Girls -- 10:30 am

  • Freshman Boys -- 11:00 am

  • Freshman Girls -- 11:30 am

  • Awards: -- 12:15 pm

Results & Scoring: Results will be fully automated and available via FinishedResults.com (https://finishedresults.com/meets/3983). Team scores will be calculated using 7 top finishers per team.

Awards: Trophies for the winner of each race and medals for the top 50 finishers. The top 3 teams in each race will also receive a plaque.

Entry Deadline: Monday, September 19, 2022


Entry Fees & Payment: $50 per level/class race and $10 per individual. The max amount paid if you bring all 8 levels is $400. Make all checks payable to Sunny Hills XC Booster Club. Entry fees must be received by mail or delivered by hand on race day. Cancellations within 7 days of the meet will be charged a $100 no-show fee.

Parking: Spectator parking for the meet will not be allowed inside the park this year. Spectators who wish to drive and park meet must utilize the shuttle service. Shuttles will depart from Fullerton Free Church between 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and run approximately every 15 minutes to Craig Park. The church parking structure is located on Brea Blvd. & Bastanchury Rd. Parking attendants will be on-site and the cost is $5 per car. Cash only for payment please.

Team buses are free and must enter off Associated Rd. Athletes and spectators can still be dropped off at the main park entrance on State College Blvd. or next door at the Hat. Limited parking is also available on the street.
