California Performer of the Week (Nov. 4-Nov. 10)

After a week off, we return with an exciting new Performer of the Week poll!

League Finals kicked off and were used as good indicators for the respective CIF-Sectional Championships. Take a look at some of the key performances from this weekend!

Boys CA Performer of the Week

Evan Noonan - Dana Hills HS (SS) - After almost a month away from competition, Noonan made a huge statement on the day of his return. His 14:03.10 was good for both a Season Best in the 3-mile distance and the individual win in the South Coast League Finals.

Liam Miller - South Torrance HS (SS) - Ripped a 14:19.70 at the Pioneer League Finals to secure the individual title. The senior was less than twenty seconds off from his P.R of 14:02.30, a time he clocked at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic earlier this season.

Ryan Barris - Arnold O. Beckman HS (SS) - Just a sophomore, but he led Beckman HS, a Top 10 nationally ranked team, to a Sea View League Finals team title. Barris won the individual title clocking a 14:29.70 on the 3-mile course.

Girls CA Performer of the Week

Rylee Blade - Santiago-Corona HS (SS) - It's Blade's 4th time running on a 3-mile course this season, and her 4th time running under 16:00 minutes. The senior Shark won the Big VIII League Finals in 15:53.70 and led her team to the team title.

Holly Barker - Trabuco Hills HS (SS) - With her 16:16.60, Barker reminded us why she should be in contention for a Div. I podium finish at the CIF-State Championships. She led the Mustangs to the team title and in the process won the South Coast League Finals individual title.

Summer Wilson - Irvine HS (SS) - The junior has been on a hot streak this season, having won all of her races except for the ASICS Clovis XC Invitational. Wilson clocked a quick 16:37.20 to win the Pacific Coast League Finals.
