The 60m is an interesting vent. Sometimes you'll see athletes who have a great start to their 100m do very well in this event. Sometimes, you'll get surprised and see the athletes who have a better second half of the 100m shock the crowd in a much shorter race. It's only run during the CA Winter season, so we won't be seeing any 60m dashes for the time being, but it does give us a little insight as to who might have that highly looked-for leg speed the second they step out of the blocks.

Let's look at how the girls are kicking off their sprint campaign this year. Mikaela Warr, a senior from Canyon - Canyon Country HS out in the Southern Section is making a name for herself early on.
